Impressive attention to cleanliness throughout the property.
My stay had a series of frustrations, beginning with the cramped shower which barely provided enough space to maneuver comfortably. the shared toilet situation was inconvenient at times, making the stay feel less private. I was also disappointed by the lack of options for nighttime snacks or light bites since the amenities in the room felt quite limited.

Superb stay in Plymouth! 🇿🇦
Man, these hosts Rob and Sue are just the best! They waited for us to check-in late and made everything so smooth. Brekkie was epic, proper home-cooked with lovely options. Plus, the location is spot-on, just a brisk walk to the vibrant Barbican area. Would defs recommend!
Only downside was the toilet situation—we had to share which was a bit of a hassle but kept clean at least.

The room I stayed in was super cozy and came with some nice extras like quality shower gel. You can relax by the courtyard or enjoy some local films during movie nights. Just a tiny thing— the shower was a bit compact, but it didn't ruin my overall experience. 👍

Super cozy spot with a fab location! Loved how comfy my room was and the atmosphere felt like having tea with old pals.
But darling, sharing a loo? I felt like I was in a sitcom! And I do love a tidy space. the rear courtyard needs some sprucing up!

Solo travelers should give it a go
We got a great welcome, Rob and Sue even saved us a parking spot. The breakfast was a killer, especially that homemade hollandaise. I mean, breakfast is important, okay? It set the bar pretty high for the rest of the trip.
It wasn’t cheap but, honestly, it still felt acceptable for what we got.

Recommend it for families seeking comfort
Rob and Sue really took care of us, even texting before we arrived to make sure we were set. That cozy breakfast room with all the fresh options was just what we needed before heading out for the day, and the Barbican Raft was phenomenal! !
It wasn’t exactly a steal but still fair for the quality provided.
